[I am not sure which option applies](#I-am-not-sure-which-option-applies)

## Pregnancy

Waterslides involve speed, movement, changes in body position, stairs, slide landings and impact with water. For this reason, pregnant Guests should not use the waterslides.

You may still be able to enjoy Activities and Pool Access if you feel comfortable doing so. This may include mazes, Mini Golf, The Lagoon and Octopus Bay where suitable.

## Your recommended ticket option

Based on your answer, the most suitable ticket option may be:

## Levels of Access – Pool Access

This ticket may be suitable for pregnant Guests who can enjoy Activities and Pool Access, but should not use waterslides.

Pool Access includes Activities.

This ticket does not include waterslide access.

Please follow all signage and Team directions during your visit. If you have any concerns about what is suitable on the day, please speak with Guest Services when you arrive.

## Injury, cast, strapped limb or splint or short-term physical restriction

Some injuries, casts, strapped limbs or movement restrictions may affect your ability to safely use waterslides.

Waterslides may require you to climb stairs, move into a specific riding position, hold your body correctly, brace safely, exit quickly and avoid putting yourself or other Guests at risk.

Hard casts are not permitted on waterslides.

You may still be able to enjoy Activities such as mazes and Mini Golf. Depending on your situation, you may also be able to enjoy Pool Access, including The Lagoon or Octopus Bay where suitable.

## Are pool areas such as The Lagoon or Octopus Bay suitable for your visit?

Please choose the option that best describes your visit.

[Yes, pool areas may be suitable, but waterslides are not suitable](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Pool-Access)

Choose this if you can safely enter, move through and exit pool areas, and your injury or support needs do not create a safety concern around water.

This may mean you can access The Lagoon or Octopus Bay where suitable, but should avoid waterslides because of riding positions, speed, stairs, impact or the risk of further injury.

[No, water areas are not suitable for my visit](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Activities)

Choose this if pools, splash areas and waterslides are not suitable for you today. This may be due to pool entry, pool movement, water play, slippery surfaces, supervision needs, mobility, pain, comfort or the risk of further injury.

This may mean your most suitable option is Activities, such as mazes and Mini Golf.

[I am not sure](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Contact-Guest-Services)

Choose this if you are unsure whether pool areas are suitable, or if your situation may depend on the day, your symptoms, your mobility, your cast or strapping, or the level of support you will have with you.

## Medical condition

Some medical conditions may affect which attractions are suitable during your visit.

Waterslides can involve stairs, enclosed spaces, sudden movement, rapid changes in direction, speed, flashing lights, loud noise, water impact and the need to follow Team instructions quickly.

Some Guests may be more comfortable choosing Activities and Pool Access instead of waterslides. Other Guests may need guidance from Guest Services or an Attractions Manager before deciding what is suitable.

## Which option best describes the attractions that may be suitable for your visit?

[Pool areas may be suitable, but waterslides are not suitable](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Pool-Access)

Choose this if waterslides may not be suitable, but you can safely use pool areas such as The Lagoon or Octopus Bay.

This may be suitable if you need to avoid slide speed, enclosed spaces, stairs, sudden movement, flashing lights, loud noise or water impact, but can still enjoy gentler water areas.

[Water areas are not suitable for my visit](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Activities)

Choose this if pools, splash areas and waterslides are not suitable for your visit, or if your medical condition may be affected by pool use, water play, heat, slippery surfaces, crowds, noise or the need for close supervision.

This may mean your most suitable option is Activities, such as mazes and Mini Golf.

[Selected waterslides may be suitable, but I need guidance from the Team](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Select-Slides)

Choose this if you believe some waterslides may be suitable, but you may need help understanding which ones to avoid.

This may be relevant if your needs are affected by specific ride features, such as flashing lights on The Wall or Blackout, raft requirements, stairs, riding position, enclosed spaces, motion, speed or landing impact.

[I am not sure](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Contact-Guest-Services)

Choose this if you are unsure which attractions may be suitable, or if your needs may change from day to day.

## Sensory, communication, mobility or support needs

Outback Splash includes waterslides, pools, splash areas, mazes, Mini Golf, music, announcements, queues, crowds and busy water areas.

Some Guests may need extra support with communication, supervision, waiting in lines, understanding instructions, moving through the park, using stairs, entering pools, exiting attractions or managing noise and sensory input.

Guest Services can help with guidance on suitable attractions. A Rainbow Wristband may also be available where appropriate, to signal to our Team that extra support and understanding may be needed during the visit.

## Which option best describes the level of access you may need?

[Pool areas may be suitable, but waterslides are not suitable](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Pool-Access)

Choose this if waterslides may not be suitable due to stairs, riding position, speed, enclosed spaces, instructions, movement, supervision needs or sensory load, but pool areas may still be suitable.

This may mean you can enjoy Activities and Pool Access, including areas such as The Lagoon or Octopus Bay where suitable.

[Water areas are not suitable for my visit](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Activities)

Choose this if pools, splash areas and waterslides may not be suitable due to supervision needs, communication needs, water safety, mobility, sensory load, medical considerations or difficulty following attraction instructions.

This may mean the most suitable option is Activities, such as mazes and Mini Golf.

[Selected waterslides may be suitable, but I need guidance from the Team](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Select-Slides)

Choose this if you believe some waterslides may be suitable, but you need help understanding which slides are the best fit.

This may be relevant where specific ride features matter, such as flashing lights, raft handles, enclosed spaces, speed, stairs, line waiting, sudden movement or the need to follow verbal instructions quickly.

[I am not sure](#Shared-Recommendation-Screen-Contact-Guest-Services)

Choose this if you are unsure what will be suitable or would prefer to speak with our Team before purchasing.

## I am not sure which option applies

That is okay. Some access needs are not simple to categorise.

If you are unsure which attractions may be suitable, we recommend contacting Guest Services before purchasing your ticket. Our Team can help you understand the safest and most suitable options for your visit.

## I have a prosthetic and would like to understand which attractions may be suitable for me

Guests with prosthetics may need extra guidance before using waterslides or pool areas.

Suitability may depend on the type of prosthetic, where it is worn, how securely it is fitted, the materials used, whether it can be used in chlorinated water, and whether it may affect riding position, movement, slide surface safety or water safety.

Please answer the questions below. Your answers will help guide you towards the attractions that may be suitable for your visit.

Final attraction suitability may still need to be confirmed by Guest Services or an Attractions Manager when you arrive.

[Start Prosthetics Guide](#Which-best-describes-your-prosthetic)

## Which best describes your prosthetic?

[Upper limb prosthetic](#Upper-limb-prosthetic)

[Lower limb prosthetic](#Lower-limb-prosthetic)

## Lower limb prosthetic

This guide is for Guests with a lower limb prosthetic.

Waterslides may require smooth contact with the slide surface, safe riding positions, controlled movement, safe landings and the ability to avoid damage to the slide surface.

If you are unsure about any answer, we recommend selecting “No / Not sure” and speaking with Guest Services before your visit.

## Does your lower limb prosthetic have any sharp, hard or protruding parts that could injure you, injure another Guest or damage the slide surface?

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if any part of the prosthetic may catch, scrape, dig in, create a sharp edge, or damage a slide surface during movement or impact.

This may mean waterslides are not suitable, as damage to a slide surface can create a safety concern for other riders.

[No](#Lower-Limb-Question-2)

Select this if the outside of the prosthetic is smooth and does not include parts that could cause injury or damage during sliding or water play.

## Is your lower limb prosthetic suitable for use in chlorinated water?

This includes any electronic parts, metal components or materials that may be affected by water, corrosion or pool chemicals.

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Question-3)

Select this if your prosthetic is designed or approved for use in chlorinated water and will not be damaged by pool or slide use.

[No / Not sure](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if your prosthetic has electronic components, materials that absorb water, metal components that may corrode, or if you are unsure whether it is suitable for chlorinated water.

This may mean waterslides and Pool Access are not suitable while wearing the prosthetic.

## Is your lower limb prosthetic securely fitted, with no parts that could come loose during sliding, impact or water play?

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Question-4)

Select this if the prosthetic remains securely attached during movement, water play, sitting, lying back, turning, landing and exiting.

[No / Not sure](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if any part may loosen, detach, shift, or become difficult to control during water play, sliding or impact.

This may mean waterslides are not suitable, as loose items or dislodged parts can create a safety concern for you and other Guests.

## Is the outside surface of your lower limb prosthetic smooth enough to slide safely on waterslides?

This means it is not likely to grip, catch, drag, slow suddenly or create high friction on the slide surface.

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Question-5)

Select this if the prosthetic has a smooth outer surface and is unlikely to catch or drag on the slide.

This may mean some waterslides can be considered, depending on your riding position and movement.

[No / Not sure](#Lower-Limb-Question-6)

Select this if the prosthetic may grip, drag, catch or create extra friction on the slide surface.

This may affect body slides or areas where the prosthetic contacts the slide surface. Raft slides may still be considered if you can safely meet the raft requirements.

## Can you bend, sit, lie back and move into the required riding positions without your prosthetic significantly limiting your movement?

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-A)

Select this if you can safely move into the required riding positions, stay in position during the ride and exit safely at the end.

This may mean selected waterslides can be considered, but final guidance from the Team is still required.

[No / Not sure](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if your prosthetic affects your ability to bend, sit, lie back, hold a safe riding position or exit safely.

This may mean waterslides are not suitable, because riding position is part of the safety requirements.

## Can you securely hold onto the handles on The Wall or Blackout rafts for the whole ride?

[Yes](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-B)

Select this if you can grip and hold the raft handles securely from start to finish, including during movement, turns and landing.

This may mean raft slides such as The Wall and Blackout can be considered, subject to Team guidance and all attraction requirements.

[No / Not sure](#Lower-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if you may not be able to hold the raft handles securely for the whole ride.

This may mean raft slides are not suitable, because holding the handles is part of the safe riding position.

Based on your answers, you may be able to enjoy Splash Island, The Wall and Blackout.

For your safety, please speak with Guest Services or an Attractions Manager when you arrive so we can guide you through the best options for your day.

## Your recommended ticket option

The most suitable ticket option may be:

This may mean waterslides and Pool Access are not suitable while wearing the prosthetic.

## For body slides, can your upper limb prosthetic be securely held across your chest for the whole ride?

[Yes](#Upper-Limb-Question-3)

Select this if you can keep your prosthetic secure and controlled across your chest for the entire ride.

This may mean body slides can be considered, depending on the attraction and Team guidance.

[No / Not sure](#Upper-Limb-Question-4)

Select this if you may not be able to keep your prosthetic secure and controlled across your chest during the ride.

This may mean body slides are not suitable, but raft slides may still be considered if you can safely hold the raft handles.

## Can you also securely hold onto the handles on The Wall or Blackout rafts for the whole ride?

[Yes](#Upper-Limb-Outcome-C)

Select this if you can hold the raft handles securely from start to finish, including during movement, turns and landing.

This may mean a wider range of selected slides can be considered, subject to Team guidance and attraction requirements.

[No / Not sure](#Upper-Limb-Outcome-A)

Select this if you may not be able to hold the raft handles securely for the whole ride.

This may mean raft slides are not suitable, but some body slide options may still be considered.

## Can you securely hold onto the handles on The Wall or Blackout rafts for the whole ride?

[Yes](#Upper-Limb-Outcome-B)

Select this if you can hold the raft handles securely from start to finish, including during movement, turns and landing.

This may mean raft slides such as The Wall and Blackout can be considered, subject to Team guidance and attraction requirements.

[No / Not sure](#Upper-Limb-Outcome-D)

Companion Card support is available for Guests who hold a current Companion Card and require attendant care support in order to participate at Outback Splash.

The Companion Card holder must purchase or hold the ticket that matches their own level of access.

Your support companion may receive complimentary admission.

Before continuing, please read the following information carefully.

Your Companion Card must be presented on arrival with your ticket.

The Companion Card holder and companion must enter together.

The companion must remain close to the Companion Card holder throughout the visit and be available to provide support when required.

Companions must be appropriately dressed and prepared to provide support in the areas and activities the Companion Card holder intends to use. If support may be required in or around water attractions, the companion should be dressed appropriately for that environment.

Companion Card support is provided so the cardholder can participate with the support they require. It is not intended as a general admission ticket for a family member, friend or spectator who is not providing attendant care support.

If the Companion Card holder requires support from more than one companion, please contact Outback Splash before purchasing your tickets so we can discuss your needs. Do not rely on one companion if the Guest requires support from more than one person.

Outback Splash may be unable to honour complimentary companion admission if the Companion Card holder is not present, the Companion Card is not presented, or the companion is not attending to provide attendant care support.

## Companion Card Confirmation

Before continuing, please confirm the following:

I hold a current Companion Card and will present it on arrival.

I understand that the Companion Card holder and their companion must enter together.

I understand that the companion must remain close to the Companion Card holder throughout the visit and provide support when required.

I understand that the companion must be appropriately dressed, including wearing swimwear where required, and prepared to assist in all areas and attractions where support may be needed.

I understand that the companion is responsible for actively supervising and supporting the Companion Card holder throughout the visit. The companion must support them to understand and follow all safety instructions and must not assist them to participate in an attraction unless they can do so safely with the support available.

I understand that the Companion Card holder must collect and wear the designated wristband from Guest Services for the duration of the visit.

I understand that, on certain attractions, the companion must be available to provide immediate assistance, including assisting with a rescue, if the Guest becomes distressed, disoriented, or is unable to complete or exit the attraction safely. The companion must follow all directions provided by the Outback Splash Team and is responsible for the Guest’s safety throughout the visit.

I understand that if more than one companion is required, I must contact Outback Splash before booking or visiting so the required support arrangements can be discussed and confirmed.

I understand that complimentary companion admission may be refused or withdrawn if the Companion Card conditions or Outback Splash safety requirements are not being met.
